Selection of my Portfolio

A selection of my work at the London Screen Acadamy:

Façade
My Y 13 Final Major Project at the London Screen Academy.   A psychological thriller set in a dystopian world where everyone is compelled to wear masks.  One person has the courage to experiment by removing her mask.  Realising freedom, can everyone be persuaded to do the same, be free and see themselves as they really are?

Atlantic Evasion
My Y 12 Final Major Project at the London Screen Academy.  Atlantic Evasion is a spy-fi short film about a teenage spy going on a mission that turns out to be a story with a dramatic twist revealed to the spy at the very end of the film.

Triumph of Hope over Despair
The brief for this end-of-year Y 12 project was to make a short film with no words about an emotion that conveys meaning.  I explored how I could convey a sense of being uplifted from a point of despair.  Using only shadows and light to convey Despair to begin with I moved on to portray  Hope through the use of sunlight on expressive hand movements.

EPQ Artefact
This is a short video showing my EPQ  final artefect; a diorama of a potential film set for a murder-mystery set on a steam train during the golden age of train travel in the 1930's.  I chose to image that I had to pitch to a film investor for my film.  The supporting documents together with the diorama were presented as a complete package.

Rage
A video without words expressing calm, sadness and rage.

A Gothic Forest
A piece of creative writing reflected in film.  Thoughts on a walk through a wind-swept forest.

Friendship Overcomes Evil
Captured by evil, friendship sets them free.  A homage to David Yates using AI imagery and Australian aboriginal music by Greg Chapman.

There's Someone in the House
Psychological horror film about a girl trapped in her own mind (her house) where a monster is trying to catch her.
